Jo's Annual Chili Cook-Off

Since 2005, Jo's Coffee and Hotel San José have partnered to host this exciting cook-off, where local chefs, amateur cooks, and culinary talent face off in a five-alarm chili battle for the coveted chili pot. Best of all, entry to the event is free, and guests can purchase a wristband on-site to sample chili from some of Austin's best restaurants and amateur cooks. Proceeds from the event support Free Lunch, an organization dedicated to tackling food insecurity in the city.

The day is packed with fun activities, including a Quick Fire Competition, music from special guests and Jo’s House Band, and a raffle, creating a lively atmosphere for everyone.
