Liberty Hill
Halloween on the Hill
Saturday, October 24, 5–9 p.m. | Foundation Park, 355 Main St, Liberty Hill, TX 78642
Downtown Liberty Hill’s Halloween night. Pumpkin decorating, trunk-or-treat, a haunted library and museum, a haunted trail, and costume contests for kids and pets. This is the one to put on the calendar if you live north of Leander.
Georgetown
Hallo-WING
Saturday, October 17, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. | Georgetown Executive Airport, 160 Terminal Dr, Suite 100, Georgetown, TX 78628
Earlier in the month, and a better pick if the kids want planes with the candy. Trunk-or-treat at the airport.

Trick or Treat Trail
Thursday, October 29, 5–7 p.m. | San Gabriel Park, 445 E Morrow St, Georgetown, TX 78626
The city parks event. Kids walk the trail, local groups hand out candy, and there are games, a photo booth, and food trucks. Free. This is the Georgetown night to lead with.
Pflugerville
P.A.W.S. Trunk or Treat
Saturday, October 24, 6–8 p.m. | Heritage Park, 901 Old Austin Hutto Rd, Pflugerville, TX 78660
Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services’ annual trunk-or-treat. Decorated trunks, a family crowd, and a free shuttle between Heritage Park and the shelter at 1600 Waterbrook Drive if the lot fills up. Hutto families use this one too.
Austin
Boo at the Zoo
October 16, 17, 23, and 24, 5:45–9 p.m. | Austin Zoo, 10808 Rawhide Trail, Austin, TX 78736
The after-dark zoo. Tickets are $25 and separate from daytime admission. There is a train ride, a milder haunted house and a scarier one, and the animals are still out. There are no October 30 or 31 dates this year, so do not wait until Halloween week.

Trick or Treat on the Trail
Friday, October 30, 6–8 p.m. | Boggy Creek Greenbelt Trailhead, 2714 1/2 Webberville Rd, Austin, TX 78702
Trick or Treat on the Trail returns with a family-friendly Halloween celebration featuring 20+ trick-or-treat stations, candy, games, activities, and a monster mash blacklight dance party. Enjoy a spooky evening of Halloween fun in a safe, car-free setting for all ages.
Kyle
Center Street Trick-or-Treat
Saturday, October 24, 9 a.m.–12 p.m. | Mary Kyle Hartson Park, 101 S Burleson St, Kyle, TX 78640
A morning event, on purpose. Businesses and groups set up at City “Scare” Park, costume contests run by age, and crafts are inside the Krug Activity Center. Easy with little kids who will not last until dark. Buda families are close enough to use this one.
Buda
Buda does not have a city-run Halloween stroll on the calendar this year. The closest one worth the drive is Kyle’s Center Street Trick-or-Treat on Saturday, October 24, from 9 a.m. to noon at Mary Kyle Hartson Park. You are done before lunch, and before F1 traffic builds on the south side.
Boo-Da Halloween
Saturday, October 24, 4:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. | Buda City Park - 204 San Antonio St, Buda, TX 78610
Buda’s annual Boo-Da Halloween celebration is back with trick-or-treating, spooky games, a kids’ costume contest, story time, and food trucks for the whole family to enjoy. A dedicated sensory-sensitive room will also be available, offering a calm and comfortable space for anyone who needs a break from the Halloween excitement.
Lakeway
Floating Pumpkin Patch
Saturday, October 17, 9–10 a.m. | Lakeway Swim Center, 3103 Lakeway Blvd, Lakeway, TX 78734
Free city event. Kids pick a pumpkin out of the pool, decorate it, and enter a contest. Bring a swimsuit and a towel. This is the Lakeway morning, not a night of trunk-or-treat.

Westlake and Bee Cave
Trunk-or-Treat
Friday, October 30, 4:30–6 p.m. | Illuminate Montessori at Westlake, 4613B Bee Caves Rd, West Lake Hills, TX 78746
Free, costumes encouraged, and open to families. Westlake does not have a downtown candy stroll. This is the neighborhood option, and it works for Bee Cave too.
Leander
Tricks and Treats Spooktacular
Saturday, October 24, 6–9 p.m. | Devine Lake Park, 1807 Waterfall Ave, Leander, TX 78641
The city parks event. Free, no registration, trick-or-treat, food trucks, and a fun zone. This is the one Leander and Cedar Park families should plan around.
Trail of Terror at The Fieldhouse
Through November 1 | The Fieldhouse at The Crossover, 1717 Scottsdale Dr, Suite 160, Leander, TX 78641
The scary option. Younger kids can walk it earlier in the evening with no actors. The full trail, with actors, starts after dark. Not a trunk-or-treat. Use it as the second Leander stop for older kids.
Cedar Park
Cedar Park has not posted a city Halloween night. The closest city event is Leander’s Tricks and Treats Spooktacular on Saturday, October 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Devine Lake Park. Liberty Hill’s Halloween on the Hill is the same night if you would rather be on Main Street.
2nd Annual Cedar Park Spooktacular
Thursday, October 29, 2026 | Lakeline Park - 1510 Alexis Dr, Cedar Park, TX 78613
Bring the whole family for a spooktacular evening filled with candy, food, and creative costumes at the 2nd Annual Cedar Park Spooktacular! This free, family-friendly celebration with the Cedar Park Police Department is a fun way to enjoy Halloween together, so come dressed in your favorite spooky, silly, or imaginative look.
Round Rock
Hometown Halloween
Friday, October 30, 3–7 p.m. | Downtown Round Rock, East Main Street, Round Rock, TX 78664
The best suburban Halloween event in the metro. Downtown businesses hand out candy. There is face painting, balloon art, live music, and train rides. Free. Come at 3 if you want the little kids through before the sidewalk fills up.
Texas State Round Rock's 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat
Thursday, October 29, 5:30 p.m. | 1555 University Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665
Get into the Halloween spirit with creative costumes, decorated car trunks, and plenty of candy at this family-friendly Trunk-or-Treat event. It’s a sweet way to spend time together, meet fellow community members, and make a few spooky-season memories along the way.
Hutto
Hutto’s closest city-backed trunk-or-treat is next door. Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services hosts P.A.W.S. Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heritage Park, 901 Old Austin Hutto Road. Decorated trunks, a family crowd, and a shuttle if the lot fills up.
Saturday, October 31, 11 a.m. | Lowe’s, 201 Ed Schmidt Blvd, Hutto, TX 78634
Classic muscle cars, eye-catching lowriders, and creative costumes take center stage at the 11th Annual Trunk or Treat Carshow! Enjoy a fun-filled day of candy, raffles, car show awards, and costume contests for all ages, including the family pets, making it a Halloween celebration for the whole family.
You do not need a downtown Austin plan. Pick the city you live in, check the link the day of, and get there at the start. The candy goes fast after the first hour.
