Labor Day – Afterhours Moonlight Paddle

September 1, 2023 | Rowing Dock – 2418 Stratford Dr, Austin, TX

On Labor Day weekend, Rowing Dock is hosting an after-hours moonlight paddle on Lady Bird Lake. This is a great opportunity to see Austin from a different perspective and to connect with nature. The paddle starts at 7:00pm and ends at 10:00pm, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the scenery.

It is a fun and unique event that is perfect for couples, families, and friends of all ages. Visit the Rowing Dock in Zilker Park and rent a kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard. Watch the moon rise (cloud-cover dependent) on this peaceful and relaxing evening out. You may even spot some wildlife, such as turtles, ducks, and geese.

 

Adult Game Night + After-Party | 9.1 Labor Day Weekend

Pie in the Sky Hot Air Balloon Festival

The Pie in the Sky Hot Air Balloon Festival is a two-day event with hot air balloon rides, pie-eating contest, pie-throwing contest, pie auction, live music, and more! One of the highlights of the festival is the hot air balloon rides. You can take a tethered ride in a hot air balloon for a bird’s eye view of the festival grounds. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can take a free-floating ride in a hot air balloon.

 

Lonestar SC Austin Labor Day Cup

The Lonestar SC Austin Labor Day Cup is the largest soccer tournament in Austin and the Central Texas area, and it is a great opportunity for teams of all ages and skill levels to compete against each other. There will be a variety of other activities including a skills competition, raffle,  live DJ, and vendor fair. There will also be food and drinks available for purchase.

 

Austin Flea at Manana Dos (Seaholm District)

The Austin Flea is a monthly market that features over 100 vendors selling unique and handmade goods. It’s a great place to find one-of-a-kind gifts, home decor, clothing, jewelry, and more. You can also find food trucks and live music at the market.
